Robert G. Karalius, ChFC®, CFP®

Financial Adviser

Rob was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1988. Immediately upon graduation, Rob began his career with New York Life.

Rob started out primarily in the small business market, however, he always had the career goal of working with athletes and entertainers. In 1992, his team landed their first professional NBA star. As of 2022, Rob and his team have been privileged to work with over 30 athletes and entertainers, assisting them with various planning concerns.

Through his 34-year career, Rob was promoted numerous times and rose through the corporate ranks. In March 2020, after a 7-year stint as Managing Partner in South Jersey and Bala Cynwyd, PA, Rob modified his practice to focus on his client's expanding needs.

Through the years Rob has continued to expand his knowledge by obtaining his Chartered Financial Consultant, as well as his Certified Financial Planner designations. His understanding of investments, estate, and business planning allows Rob and his team to satisfy the needs of their unique and successful clients.

Rob gives back to the community with the help of the New York Life Foundation. For the last decade, Rob has created multiple scholarships through the “Friends of Father Judge.” He has donated time and money to various causes and institutions including Cradles to Crayons, CHOP, The Liver Foundation, The Heart Association, The National Cancer Society, and Penn State University. Additionally, he has served on the boards for Unico National, Northern Home for Children, and the AM8 Foundation.

In his free time, Rob enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Patricia M. Andris

Financial Services Professional

Pat Andris, known by many as Patty Karalius Andris, has been in the business since 2000. Patty spent several years working in the office while broadening her understanding of the business before officially joining Rob and their father, George (aka Poppy) in June 2000.

Today, Pat serves a large client base covering a wide financial spectrum. Her strength is giving all clients the focus they deserve in assisting them to meet their financial objectives. She attended St. Basil Academy High School and Arcadia University and attributes her learning and business skills to them. Her work ethic and caring for people comes from her Mom, Dad, and brother.

Patty is a proud Mom of three great adult children and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends along with reading and traveling to new places. Downtime is "beach time"! She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.

Mark C. Weller, CFP® MBA

Financial Adviser

Mark C. Weller has been an agent with New York Life since 2009. In his 13+ years working under the tutelage of Robert G. Karalius, ChFC® CFP® Mark has qualified for New York Life Council for the past 12 consecutive years.

Mark graduated from Dickinson College with a degree in Economics. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Finance concentration from La Salle University School of Business. He was presented the MBA Graduate Student Academic Excellence Award in 2009. In 2015, Mark achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) credential.

A native of Hatboro, Mark presently resides in Royersford, PA with his wife Abby. They are proud parents of now four cats, Charles, Fluffy Pumpkin, Shadow, and Magic.

Dominick DiNofa, ChFC®, CFP®

Financial Adviser

Dominick Dinofa joined our team as a Financial Adviser in January of 2020. During his time with Karalius & Associates, Dominick has worked with clients on building a plan to achieve and realize their financial goals. Retirement planning, wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, and estate planning are a few of the main areas of focus for Dominick and his clients.

Prior to joining Karalius & Associates, Dominick experienced working internally for a Financial Services provider. While growing up, Dominick also worked as a part-time manager at his prideful family’s Italian Restaurant Gino's Pizza Cafe in the Mayfair area of Philadelphia, PA.

Dominick graduated from The Penn State Smeal College of Business in 2017 with a major in Actuarial Science and a minor in Statistics.

Raised in Richboro, PA. In his leisure time, you can find him on the golf course, watching sports, and exercising. Dominick is also very family oriented and spends a lot of time with his family as well as friends.

Donna H. Bolno, M.Ed.

Agent

Donna came to NYL first as a client, then as an agent. She has a rich and varied resume with caring for and about people at the core of all of her work. As a teacher, social worker, therapist, community relations director and development director, Donna has the ability and skill to relate to clients from across the spectrum. She enjoys being part of a team that she personally trusts with financial expertise and depth and brings her warmth, personal experience, knowledge and perspective to client meetings.

George V. Karalius

Agent

George was born in Lithuania in 1937. After a tumultuous childhood during World War II where his family constantly moved. In 1950, his family was sponsored and immigrated to the United States settling in Philadelphia. He attended Central High School and graduated from Temple University.

He had three phases of work life. First, he is a Marine, "Semper Fi". His second career was with the City of Philadelphia where he started as a Lifeguard and retired as the Deputy Commissioner of the Recreation Department. During his tenure, his most recognized call of duty was running the Mummer’s Parade, a well known Philadelphia tradition for a decade. After retiring at 55, he wasn’t quite ready for a rocking chair. So, he joined his son, Rob at New York Life.

In his 28th year in 2020, George referred by many as "Poppy" still can be seen bringing in new clients as well as maintaining the relationships with clients that he introduced to New York Life over the last generation.

George is married to Pat for 60 years. He is a proud father of 2 children (Pat & Rob), 4 grandchildren (Tommy, Trish, Joey and Robbie) and 4 great-grandchildren (Landon, Kingston, Trayce and Mila). Their close-knit family not only shows in work life but also in real life, spending holidays, vacations as well as sharing the normal ups and downs of everyday life.

Christopher Williams

Financial Services Professional

Chris grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia. He graduated high school from Oak Hill Academy which is considered by many to have one of the premier basketball programs in the country. He went on to attend James Madison University on a four-year basketball scholarship, graduating with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Business.

Prior to joining Karalius and Associates, Chris was a financial planner for Dollar Tree, Inc headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia. Chris is a proud father of daughter, Atiana, and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his daughter, watching sports, traveling, reading, and walking trails in nature.
